NEW PILOT PLAY RANGER PROJECT

DG Play in Partnership with Neighbourhood Renewal, in North West Dumfries are delighted to announce this new and exciting project.

Play Rangers are "Detached Workers" working in public spaces within communities, enabling and encouraging children to play freely outdoors. The Play on offer is "Free Play", it is unstructured, enabling children to use their imagination, outdoor play has many facets and can include using playgrounds, games and activities and using natural elements such as trees, sticks, puddles, light, water, earth and fire for play.

How do Play Ranger sessions work?

DG Play operates an "Open Access" policy which means children are free to come and go as they please, there is no charge and no registration required.
Parent's/carer's remain responsible for their children at all times.

Where will we be & when?

Glentrool Park on Wednesdays -  8th,15th,23rd and 29th February from 3.30pm-5.00pm
Popeseye on Thursdays - 9th,16th, 23rd and 1st March from 3.30pm-5.00pm

Both parks are within North West Dumfries
